Today’s story is the 52nd entry on this blog, which means for a year I’ve put up a new story every single Friday, producing over 36,000 words of fiction in the process. This seems a good time to end it. I’m not ruling out doing something similar at some point, but I need a break, not least because I’m in danger of repeating myself. If I do launch another fiction feed, it probably won’t be on Substack, because I’ve been pretty dismayed by their attitude to hate speech.
I’ll leave the stories here for now, though I’m going to see if there’s any interest in compiling them into a book: if that happens, I may take them down. (If you represent a publisher who might be interested, please do get in touch.) In the meantime, thanks for reading The Brittle Stars.
Thanks for the stories...
I would definitely be interested in buying an ebook of them!
Thanks so much for your wonderful micro tales.
